Building Homes, Building Hope.

Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. HFHI seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.

Habitat For Humanity of Knox County Ohio works in partnership with God and people of all faiths and races to develop communities for people in need by building and renovating houses, creating homeownership opportunities.

Please note : The Habitat for Humanity ReStore has moved to its new location in the old Loma Linda Factory, 13246 Wooster Road. The store is open Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The new space has allowed us to add many items to our inventory that we previously had no space for. Recent additions include furniture, lamps and pictures from the Kenyon Inn. We also have inventory donated by 84 Lumber when they closed their Mount Vernon store. If you would like to make a donation, please call 740-485-2194 or 740-504-8731 and inquire as to whether the facility is able to accommodate your donation. Come visit us for all your home improvement needs.

Information Regarding Applications for Our Next House

We are pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, national origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation, or sources of income.
