A Safe Place to Play

Project Playhouse is a program designed to bring the pride and joy of homeownership through play to local kids in Knox County.

Proceeds from Project Playhouse go towards our home building costs in Knox County.

Program Qualifications

Be a resident of Knox County

Be under the HUD income of 80% AMI

Provide all requested documentation

Program Application

The number of applicants accepted is based on the number of playhouses available.

For applications that pass the initial screening, you will be contacted by Habitat Staff.

Building the Playhouse

Each playhouse will take 5-6 hours to build and paint with the help of 8-10 volunteers.

After the playhouse is complete, the recipient family will be responsible for transporting the playhouse to their home.
