Individual Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Knox County!

Whether you're swinging a hammer or helping at our ReStore, every hour you give helps build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.

Before You Get Started:

• Construction volunteers must be at least 18 years old. 16 & 17 year old volunteers must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers must sign a liability waiver.

• No experience is necessary — we provide all training, tools, and supervision.

• Volunteer hours are available Monday - Wednesday, 9am - 2pm, with occasional exceptions for holidays and weather.

• We gladly sign off on community service hours for schools, churches, and other approved programs.

How to Sign Up:

1. For Construction just follow the next steps. For the ReStore - we need you to register as a volunteer first by filling out this form.

2. Scroll through the calendar below and select a date that works for you.

3. Click on the event title, then select “Register.”

4. Complete your contact information.

5. Read and initial the volunteer waiver, and check the box to confirm.
