What We Offer

The Learning & Training Center is available for community groups, nonprofits, businesses, and the general public to host classes, workshops, meetings, and training opportunities. With seating for 80–100 people and flexible table and chair arrangements, the space can be adapted to fit a wide range of needs.

  • Amenities include a flat-screen TV with sound system, Wi-Fi, a kitchenette, ADA accessibility, and convenient parking just outside the building. Whether you’re hosting an educational workshop, planning meeting, or community gathering, Habitat’s Learning & Training Center provides a comfortable and inclusive environment that supports growth and collaboration throughout Knox County.

    We also can provide black linen table cloths for a $10 cleaning fee.

  • Located on the north side of the Habitat for Humanity of Knox County building at 405 W. Chestnut St in Mount Vernon. Our Learning & Training Center is a welcoming, flexible space designed to bring people together for learning, collaboration, and community connection.

  • The suggested donation structure will be as follows:

    • $50 for events up to 1 hour

    • $100 for events lasting longer than an hour, up to 4 hours

    • $200 for events lasting longer than 4 hours or events that need extended setup times

    • We are happy to extend our non-profit and church partners a 50% discount on the suggested donation.

    These donations will allow Habitat for Humanity to continue to host community groups in a welcoming and clean space. We want to emphasize that these are suggested donations, and we remain committed to working with partners to ensure the space continues to be accessible to the community and the many organizations, clubs and groups that make Knox County what it is. If your group needs an invoice, we would be happy to provide one for you.
